Relpol relays without AgCdO

We can hereby inform you that  the use of cadmium in the relays (AgCdO contact material) will be completely prohibited and will be phase out inthe nearly future. This is described in the DIRECTIVE 2011/65/EU OF THEEUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 8 June 2011 on the restriction of theuse of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.

In accordance with this document we qualified all AgCdO contacts to phase out in relays from Relpol offer range.

For that reason, Relpol is recommending all their customers to switch present relays with AgCdO contact material, to relay with AgSnO2 or AgNi contact material.
